From Series: "The Story of Hope"
The story of the Christ follower has always been and will always be a story of hope. Even during the days of Peter, the leader of Jesus’s original followers, there was hope as the early church experienced great persecution and hardship. People assumed that Jesus would return and usher in a new age during their lifetime. The fact that Jesus did not return caused great angst. We saw chaos and unrest as the religious establishment viewed Christians as a dangerous and toxic false religion. There was human and spiritual opposition pounding the church on every side. How should people respond to these hardships, disappointments, and pain? In this fragile thing called life, can there be necessary benefits from opposition? Can there be authentic hope? Join us at Crossway Church on a journey through the book of 1 Peter as we discover “The Story of Hope”.

From Series: "Stronger"
“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” is a line from the Kelly Clarkson song “Stronger.” While it’s a catchy song and the phrase is true, becoming stronger doesn’t happen naturally. The pain, trials, and challenges of life do not automatically make us stronger. We need to reframe them in order to see the difficulties of life as fertilizer to help us grow. Paul, in a powerful letter to the ancient church in Corinth, reveals the strength that is possible for all of us as we navigate the hard journey of life. Join us at Crossway Church, as we grow Stronger together, through all the seasons of life.
