“Thank you for creating a place where my teen feels loved and can be herself.”
Crossing Student Ministry's weekly youth gatherings for middle and high schoolers provide stable community for students to grow in their relationship with Christ while actively engaging theology alongside peers closest in age.
For more information, please contact the student ministry coordinators, alissag@crosswayc.org & ethane@crosswayc.org.

Ethan has been attending CrossWay Church for the majority of his life and recently got married to his wife, Andrea. Ethan joined the staff team in October of 2021 as the Local & Global missions coordinator and has been involved in Crossing as a volunteer since 2020. He has recently entered a new role on staff as a Student Ministry Coordinator. In addition to this, Ethan has worked at Latitude Café as a barista for three years and continues to enjoy serving others coffee. Favorite part about student ministry: “I love being able to walk alongside students and have authentic conversations with them about life and Christ in addition to having fun!”

Alissa and her husband, Zack, have been attending CrossWay church since 2018. Together, they have a two-year-old daughter, Clementine, and a small (but feisty!) pug, Luna. Alissa joined the staff team at CrossWay in her role as Student Ministry Coordinator in April of 2023. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and has spent the last six years in healthcare before transitioning to vocational ministry.
Favorite part about student ministry: “I love the students. Seeing them get excited about God, ask thoughtful questions, and grow in their faith brings me so much joy. I’m excited to be a part of that.”
