Safe Families provides short term respite care for families in crisis in our local communities.

The vision of Safe Families is to create a world where children are safe and families transformed through radically compassionate communities.

Their mission is to host vulnerable children and create extended family–like supports for desperate families through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by compassion to keep children safe and families intact.

Through Host Families and Family Friends there is an opportunity to temporarily host children and provide a network of support to families in crisis while they get back on their feet.

Beyond the relational needs of being a Host Family or Family Friend, there are material needs to support Host Families and client families during respite care. From transportation, to clothing and food, to car seats Safe Families asks for the support of the church community to support their mission.
